Block boards are mainly used to make kitchen cabinet doors, wardrobe doors, DB doors etc. This is due to its non warp characteristics hence its ability to hold up as doors. Blockboards are made from rectangular strips of wood, edge-to-edge to form a core which is sandwiched between single or double veneers.

Our block boards are available in the following dimensions:

  • 2440mm x 1220mm x 15mm

  • 2440mm x 1220mm x 18mm

  • 2440mm x 1220mm x 25mm

Physical and mechanical properties:

Material composite:

  • Falcatta solid wood core, bat jointed, PVC glued, 10.2mm and 13.2mm in thickness.

  • Falcatta veneer short core, 2 piles of 2.2mm in thickness.

  • MLH/ falcatta hardwood face and back, 0.5mm in thickness.

  • Total 5 ply.

Grade: BB/CC SSB, JPIC Standard, available for lamination usage.

Tolerance: +/- 0.5mm
Glue: Type 2D
Moisture content: <15%
Density: >300 kg/cbm
